As Director and President of the Board of The Christian Action, Tata K. Kouassi provides overall governance leadership, strategic direction, and spiritual oversight to ensure the organization faithfully fulfills its mission. This role carries the highest level of board responsibility, guiding the Board of Directors in stewardship, accountability, and Christ-centered service.
Responsibilities as President of the Board

Serve as the chief governance officer of the Board of Directors.

Preside over all Board meetings, ensuring effective leadership, orderly proceedings, and informed decision-making.

Set board agendas in collaboration with executive leadership and ensure timely communication with board members.

Provide strategic guidance and oversight to support the organization’s mission, vision, and long-term goals.

Ensure the Board fulfills its fiduciary duties, including oversight of finances, policies, and organizational compliance.

Lead board evaluations and promote accountability, transparency, and good governance practices.

Serve as a key representative of The Christian Action to partners, donors, and external stakeholders when appropriate.
